Climate Change’s Equity Challenge: Creating a Movement for All of Us
Thu, April 28, 2022 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM PDT
Where are we in the climate movement in terms of diversity and inclusion, and how can we foster a movement with more belonging and justice?
Climate change affects us all, but historically marginalized populations are worst impacted. In addition, environmental organizations that work on climate change lack racial diversity and therefore the skills to address equity challenges. This presentation by Switzer Fellow Clara Fang will look at where we are in the climate movement in terms of diversity and inclusion and how we can foster a movement with more belonging and justice for all.
This event is open to Switzer Fellows, their colleagues and connections. It will be held on Zoom and will be recorded.
